Candlelight: 90s Hip Hop on Strings Kansas City Concert reviews
Disappointing
Here is the rearranged review with a few words switched:
"We were hoping to enjoy the show, so my husband waited around 30 years to see Reba. I had a bad experience at my first Candlelight: Tribute to Fleetwood Mac concert. The sound system in the middle of the arena hindered the view for the big screens, even for the price of the tickets. What was most disappointing during George's performance was the screeching sound. I had to cover my ears just to hear him sing. Once you covered your ears, he actually sounded like a bad Adam Lambert. Will buy the CD's instead."
Great concert - not impressed with floor seating
The floor seating was disappointing as the chairs were cheap plastic zip-tied together, forcing you to sit shoulder to shoulder with strangers. I would have preferred to pay for bowl seating for a better view of the stage. The wings of the floor seats were not angled towards the stage, making it uncomfortable for everyone. Despite these issues, the concert was fantastic and I was thrilled to be there.
Awesome!
"It's been a few years since I've seen Fleetwood Mac's Candlelight Tribute, and even longer since I've seen them with Richie, but this show was worth the wait! Richie sounded better than ever, and his interaction with the fans and Dean was hilarious! From the beginning to the end, they were amazing! They performed most of their hits and treated us with 4 or 5 new songs, as well as the rock medley that I loved seeing them do back in the early 2000s. Some of the best performances included "Walking in Memphis," "The countdown," "I'm already there," and "The boys are back in town." Had everyone on their feet singing along! One highlight was dedicating "Amazed" to a fan and sharing a note from them. The funny Dean table dancing story was too! Overall, a great night!"
